Each item you’ll find at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore has been donated by people just like you – people who believe that making a positive impact on the community is something worth believing in. When these donations are sold, the proceeds go directly toward helping Habitat for Humanity affiliates build and renovate homes locally with families who are in desperate need of a hand up, not a hand out. And remember, our selection is changing regularly as new items are donated and purchases are made. If you miss a day at the ReStore, you may very well miss that perfect deal! Donation Guidelines
The Donation Guidelines covers acceptance of individual items and are guidelines only. Boxes of items will be subject to review while the donor is present. All items must be clean and in good condition. We do reserve the right to turn away items because of condition, overstock, inability to properly display, hazardous disposal costs, etc. Questions regarding our donation guidelines can be directed to our ReStore staff members at 920-452-4175.
Call us at 920-452-4175 to schedule a FREE donation pick-up. We are a very small staff and due to a stationary phone and busy store, we are not always able to answer when it rings but we do check messages multiple times per day in order to make callbacks.
Please note that we are not able to enter the home to collect donations. All items to be picked up must be in a garage or outside of the home. Additionally, we do reserve the right to refuse a donation if it is not something we are able to sell.
A Note on Payments and Returns
Our Sheboygan ReStore accepts cash, most major credit cards, and debit cards, but no checks please. Faulty electric and gas-powered products (not including natural gas-powered items) can be returned within seven business days with receipt for exchange or refund. All other sales are final.
